How to order your suit


Wearing an official team suit is a UIL requirement for meets. Swimmers CAN practice in something different, but for meets they have to wear the team suit. You'll need a suit for our first meet. 

PLACE YOUR ORDERS BY SEPTEMBER 1st!

Read below for more details on each option.


  • We do have small selection of donated suits in a variety of styles, sizes, color, condition (mostly gently used) that you may use. If you are interested in one of the donated suits contact [email protected].
  • Does your swimmer need scholarship funding to cover any expenses? Please contact [email protected] for assistance. We want to support every swimmer, regardless of constraints.

JOLYN – Women's Suits 

You do not need a Jolyn suit if you are happy with the A3 team suit. Jolyn suits are higher quality, hence the price difference of approximately $20.

ORDER INFO–Our team suit order has already been placed*, but you can still purchase a suit directly through [email protected] and specify: team name, style & size.

STYLE & SIZE INFO–Approved suit options Chevy and Brandon onesies in blueberry with our team logo. Here is the Jolyn Finis 2023 Catalog and Sizing Guide for reference.

PAYMENT INFO–You are responsible for paying for Jolyn suits ordered. The Booster club will cover the initial expense to place the team order. Jolyn suits run between $70-$80.

Action Items for all swimmers for 2023-2024 Season

REQUIRED FORMS FOR ALL SWIMMERS:

1. Complete the AISD Online Participation Form: AISD Online Participation form

For this you will need a physician to fill out a portion that the student must turn in to the McCallum athletic trainer. 

2. Complete the UIL Previous Athletic Participation Form:

4. All NEW students to MAC Swim must fill out the PAPF and print out, sign, scan and email it to Coach Rudy

6. GET YOUR TEAM SUIT ORDERED 

A3 (girls & boys) deadline TBA for ALL A3 suit orders. 

Team suits can be ordered by going to the TEAM STORE tab on this site or by going clicking on the following link for the swiMcCallum team shop the A3 website

Purchases are made directly via their site and will be delivered in time for our first meet. 

6. Once you've completed the AISD physical, have your swimmer submit it to the McCallum trainer, Matt Johnson -512-414-7572.His office is at the field house behind the Mac. All forms except PAPF need to go to Matt Johnson .

2021-2022 Season News/Updates

December Practices

The week of 12/13-12/17 (Monday - Friday) from 2:30PM - 4:00PM

Over the break we will practice from 1:00PM - 2:30PM on the following days:

M/TU - 12/20 and 12/21

M/TU/W - 12/27 - 12/29

Everyone is expected to be at practice over the break (we have a big TISCA meet the week we return to school) unless you are out of town visiting relatives/vacation/etc. Please let me know if you will miss any of these practices and the reason you will miss - I just need to keep track of everyone and start preparing relays.

Some items to begin thinking about:

1) Parents - we will need TWO timers and a team photographer for the UIL District meet on Jan. 29 (Sat.)

2) Still waiting on results file from Hays so I can get them in the data base

3) Plan on a Blue/Gray Meet at our pool to have one last opportunity to get times for Corpus - details later, but this will need to happen sooner than later.

Meet update: 12/7/2021

We will need TWO (and maybe more) parent timers for this Friday. Please let me know via Remind if you can help out! Our plan is to leave school at Noon this Friday (everyone must ride the bus - no exceptions) and stop for lunch on the way (swimmers bring a lunch to eat or have $$ to buy lunch en route). Warm-ups begin at 3PM and the meet starts at 5PM. I anticipate us being back at MAC around 9PM. Students may be picked up by their own parents at the end of the meet - I just need a written note or email to confirm. More details to follow as I receive them.

Basic Meet info:

Facilities:10 lane, 25-yard competition pool with 2 lanes dedicated to warm-up/down.

Warm up/down lanes will be available during the entire meet.

Seating:Seating is limited, so please bring your own chairs. There is room to set

up canopies for teams that want to bring them. Seating areas are on a first come, first served basis.

Timing: Each team is responsible for supplying 2 timers for the meet.Colorado touch pads and timing system will be used.

Team staging areas

  • Team staging areas will be in the Pool Parking Lot (Phase 1A). Each team will be responsible for ensuring that they are maintaining social distance from one another. The area consist of four rows.
  • Row 1: 18 spots or 2,916 square feet
  • Row 2: 22 spots 3,563 square feet
  • Row 3: 22 spots 3,564 square feet
  • Row 4: 21 spots 3,402 square feet
  • To ensure effective flow and distancing we are encouraging that the drives between the rows remain clear for athlete and spectator foot traffic
  • Coaches and parents are allowed to drop of supplies but must follow the road into camp (Phase 1B) and follow the circle drive around to exit the camp

Spectator areas

  • Front lawn 3,256 square feet. In addition, the host team can carve out any rows or section of rows for spectator areas from the team staging area.. In accordance withUIL COVID Mitigation planFan and spectator areas including bleachers, stands, walkways, and other spectator areas should be at least six feet from team /group areas such as team benches or performance areas.”In addition “Schools should not allow seating in consecutive rows, and should block off seating to maintain a minimum six feet of distance between groups.
  • Spectators are encouraged bring their own seating to avoid contamination.
  • Spectators will be allowed in the building for use of restrooms however no spectators will be allowed to observe the meet from in-side the building.
  • All employees, parents, visitors and students 10 years of age or older must wear face coverings or face shields up entry to an area where UIL activities are being conducted and when not actively practicing or playing in the contest, unless an exception listed below applies
  • Exceptions to the wearing of face coverings or face shields include:
  • Any person with a medical condition or disability that prevents wearing a face covering;
  • While a person is consuming food or drink;
  • While the person is in a swimming pool, lake, or similar body of water.
  • When a congregating group of persons maintains at least 6 feet of social distancing; or
  • Any other reason or circumstance indicated underExecutive Order GA-29

Communication and Signage

  • Schools need to communicate to all students and those attending the meet prior to arrival at YMCA Camp Moody that any individual who are confirmed to have, suspected of having, are experienced symptoms of, or have been in close contact with an individual who has been confirmed to have COVID-19 should not enter the facility.
  • In addition, the home team needs to provide printed signage on site in both English and Spanish that any individuals who are confirmed to have, suspected of having, are experienced symptoms of, or have been in close contact with an individual who has been confirmed to have COVID-19 should not enter the facility.

Locker Room and Restroom use

  • Locker Rooms will be sanitized by YMCA Staff prior to the meet however it will be the responsible for the host team to identify a staff or volunteer to monitor the locker room and other areas students congregate to ensure social distancing and wearing of a face covering.
  • Disinfecting supplies will be made available in the locker rooms for students to disinfect afterwards.
  • YMCA Staff will disinfect at regular intervals and as need for issues needing immediate attention however each student is responsible for disinfecting after their own use.
  • To encourage social distancing lockers, sinks, showers, and toilets will be limited, based on meet size, to keep students from congregating.

Friday November 12th, 2021

Meet Host: Burnet High School

Meet Site: The Tex Robertson Natatorium located in the YMCA of the Highland Lakes, located at 1601 South Water Street Burnet, Texas 78611.

Facility: ∙ 10 competition lanes with a separate warm down pool.

∙ Locker rooms and showers

∙ Coaches’ and officials hospitality

∙ Fully automated 10 lane Colorado timing system

∙ Ample seating for competitors and spectators (We will access the gym for extra seating for swimmers – Please plan to have a parent or two to help monitor your swimmers in the gym.)

Schedule: Swimming Warm-Up at 8:00 a.m. (warm-up sessions will be assigned prior to the meet and emailed to each coach the week of the meet)

Coach’s Meeting @ 10:15 a.m.

Swimming will begin at 10:30 a.m.

More Meet information for 10/29

For Friday's Meet, here are some important reminders:

2) The swim center is located at 1900 Red River. Here are driving/parking directions:

https://www.tsc.utexas.edu/directions You will need to pay to park in the Trinity garage.

3) Swimmers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the meet.

4) You will be issued a parka/team swim bag and team cap this week. You may wish to bring extra towels as the UT pool has cold water and A/C in the building is always on.

5) Events / relays are assigned - see the attachments to this announcement.

6) For parent spectators: Girls will swim on the north end of the pool and Boys will swim on the south end.

7) We need to provide a minimum of two timers:

Lane 5 - Boys LASA/McCallum
Lane 6 - Girls Lehman/McCallum

It's best to have more so that parents can take shifts. Please send me a message via our REMIND if you can help - I need those names by tomorrow. First come, first served.

8) Don't forget to bring snacks and WATER. A bottle filler is available on site.

9) Deck access will be by tattoos. Returning swimmers can explain the process. They will be issued at 7:45AM.

10) All swimmers will stay for the entire meet to support/cheer for each other - we are a TEAM.

Our first meet is this Friday! Here is some basic information for everyone:

Meet Style:

All-Timed Finals: All-Timed Finals: 9:30 A.M. 5A and 6A will be seeded and swim together; Two pools will be utilized. Boys on the South End. Girls will swim on the North End.

Diving event (Single Round Event) for Boys and Girls (Six Dives; one dive from each of

Divers: Warm-up; 8:15 A.M. in the Diving Well Area.

Restrictions: All competitors MUST meet UIL restrictions/rules of competition engagement

Meet Start: Morning Warm-up; 8:15 A.M. All-Timed Finals: Divers Warm-up @ 8:15 A.M.

Qualifying Times: No qualifying times will be required for this Meet.

The meet will be held at the Jamail Swim Center on the campus of the University of Texas. Swimmers are responsible for their own transportation to/from this meet. I've attached a file - we will need to provide a few parent volunteers to help time/assist with meet particulars. If any of you have photography skills, please sign up to be our team photographer for this event! More details will follow this weekend. I'm very excited to get our season started - the swimmers have been working hard and we are ready to get this first meet under our belts.

Paperwork NEEDED!

Hello All. If you have not submitted your PAPF forms yet - all swimmers must submit, every season. (Not Seniors). Please download and turn in ASAP. 

PAPF Form Here. 

There is a mandatory $30.00 Fair Share fee that needs to be paid by each swimmer. This fee pays for necessary equipment and fees that are paid by the swim team and not covered by AISD. Please make check payable to McCallum High School, Memo: Swim Team Shared Fee 2021-2022. You can give this check to the coach at practice. 

*If you would like to request a needs-based scholarship for this fee, please contact: [email protected] and the MacSwim Booster may have the funds to cover some of these fees for the year.*

Welcome to swiMcCallum booster site. 

We're excited about the 2021-2022 season. 

Our varsity and junior varsity, coed team competes September through February, with swimmers consistently qualifying for the Regional meet in College Station each year and continuing on to the State level!

Registration for the 21-22 Season is now open and we are and asking parents to join the swiMcCallum booster to support the team. Please select "Booster Membership" in the registration form. Thank you!
